BSF conducted the assessment skills for graduating high school students as culmination of their curriculum in the Revised Technical Vocational Education Curriculum last March, 2009. Students majoring in Fish Preservation, Fish Capture, and Fish Culture as well as those who took up Garments and Food Technology have all undertaken the "hands-on" examination in each respective competency for each specialization. Students were given their NC (National Certificate) attested by TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) after they passed the test.
